APPLICATION OF FLEET TECHNOLOGICAL MANAGEMENT IN MODERN TRANSPORT COMPANIES

The contemporary development of the road transport sector places increasingly high demands on the efficiency, control, and optimization of vehicle fleets. Amid rising costs for fuel, maintenance, and human resources, the implementation of technological management solutions has become a key factor for the competitiveness of transport companies. Traditional methods for controlling and organizing transport activities are proving insufficient, necessitating the adoption of modern technological solutions. This report examines the nature and application of technological fleet management through the use of GPS systems, telematics devices, and specialized software. The main functionalities of these systems are analyzed, including real-time tracking, fuel consumption control, driver behavior analysis, and route optimization. Special attention is paid to the practical benefits of implementing such technologies, such as reducing operating costs, enhancing safety, and improving management processes. The report also presents the main challenges associated with the implementation and effective use of these systems, such as lack of training and organizational resistance, which are key factors in achieving sustainable results. In addition, a mathematical model for cost optimization in a transport company is developed using sensitivity analysis formulas, examining various scenarios for changes in these costs.
