HUMAN CREATIVE POTENTIAL MANAGEMENT IN THE ERA OF GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: THE TRANSFORMATION OF CORPORATE INNOVATION MANAGEMENT
Lelovský Mário, Rakús Gasperová Jana, Nebeský Ľubomír, Barjaková Jana, Graser Stefan Gregor Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is fundamentally reshaping the architecture of economic activities, organisational structures, and managerial processes across industries. Unlike previous waves of technological innovation, which primarily automated repetitive physical or administrative tasks, GenAI has entered domains traditionally considered uniquely human, including creative problem-solving, content creation, strategic analysis, design thinking, and knowledge-intensive decision-making. This shift represents a significant transformation in the nature of work and value creation, as intelligent systems are increasingly capable of generating text, images, software code, business concepts, and analytical insights with a level of sophistication previously unattainable through conventional automation technologies. The primary objective of this paper is to analyse the synergistic relationship between human creative potential and the algorithmic performance of generative artificial intelligence within the framework of innovation management. Human creative potential encompasses the ability to generate novel and valuable ideas, identify unconventional relationships between concepts, interpret complex social and cultural contexts, and formulate innovative solutions to emerging challenges. In contrast, GenAI contributes through rapid information processing, large-scale pattern recognition, simulation of alternatives, and the generation of multiple solution pathways. The interaction between these complementary capabilities creates opportunities for a new model of innovation in which humans and intelligent systems jointly participate in value creation processes.
