FORECASTING THE LIFE OF PRESSURE EQUIPMENT
Ivan Ganchev The report presents the specific features of forecasting the life of pressure equipment. The specific characteristics and stages of forecasting the specific activities for this type of equipment, considered as a generalized structure, are shown, excluding metal pipelines for steam and metal pipelines for hot water. The possibilities for assessing and forecasting the resource of pressure equipment are presented, using a probabilistic model for predicting the resource at the design stage of the pressure equipment and a model for predicting the resource of a pressure equipment at the operation stage of the facility itself, indicating the main directions for collecting information when implementing the process of predicting the resource at the operation stage. The dependences of the probability saturation are shown, considering two technically completely equivalent possible scenarios. The interrelationships between the various random events occurring during the operation of pressure equipment and their impact on its resource are defined, as an opportunity to determine a forecast with a high degree of reliability, implemented on the basis of an assessment of the probability density for the occurrence of random variables.
