COMPARATIVE RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF THE MODERNIZATION OF ELECTRONIC AND MECHANICAL PARTS OF A COMPLEX TECHNICAL OBJECT
Vladimir Iliev Boyadjiev A significant part of the production facilities is in an advanced stage of moral and physical obsolescence. Their renewal can be done in different directions. One of them is modernization. Its implementation allows for flexibility, scalability and multivariability. When making a final decision for a specific modernization, it is important that it be based on objective information, which is a prerequisite for the high efficiency of the modernization. This study examines the modernization of the electronic and mechanical parts of a complex technical facility, comparing the two options. The assessment of the effectiveness of the partial modernization can be carried out using different criteria. In this case, the operational reliability of the modernized facility is proposed as a comparison criterion. And the level of operational reliability allows for the assessment of the operational efficiency of the facilities. This report explores the possibilities of implementing a methodology through which such an assessment of the effectiveness of different options for the partial modernization of a complex technical facility can be carried out. Specifically, two options for modernization are compared - the electronic and the mechanical parts of a complex technical facility. Solving this limited-scale task will allow moving towards a more comprehensive ultimate goal - encompassing different partial modernizations of a facility in one model and comparing them based on criteria that take into account the operational reliability and operational efficiency of the technological equipment.
