DESIGN OF A MICROPROCESSOR SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE LIGHTING OF THE TRAINING COMPLEX AT THE TODOR KABLESHKOV UNIVERSITY OF TRANSPORT

Lyubomir Sekulov, Dilyana Mitseva

The development is related to improving the quality of theoretical and practical training of students majoring in ”Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment,” ”Automation, Electronics, and Computer Control in Electric Transport,” and ”Electric Vehicles.” It meets modern educational ments and the needs of employers, contributing to the improvement of training for the acquisition of legal capacity and professional qualifications of locomotive drivers and underground railway (metro) drivers.

The designed system will be integrated into the existing training complex for studying the psychophysical indicators of drivers at the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport, thereby expanding and modernizing its capabilities. In addition, it will provide conditions for research activities by lecturers, students, and doctoral students in the field of electric transport.

The system will also contribute to expanding opportunities for cooperation with electric transport operators in the training and testing of the competence of electric transport vehicle (ETV) drivers. Its implementation is expected to contribute to more realistic modeling of operational situations and increased safety in the operation of electric rolling stock. The development has the potential to serve as a basis for future upgrades of simulation and diagnostic systems in training.
